Tomorrow is Another Day...with NO Finals!

"God is good...all the time! All the time God is good...and that is His nature!"

It hasn't even been two hours since finishing my last final...and all I feel now is...relief. No, I am not walking on air (or water). Now it is simply a moving on with life. A moving on with what the Lord has for me.

This all brings to mind a great verse about the Lord's plans for your life and my life! Take heart...and grow in Him!

Isaiah 25:1 "O Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you; I will praise your name for you have done wonderful things; plans formed of old, faithful and sure."

Isn't it wonderful that God is faithful...even when we are not. He is sure when we are full of uncertainties. He is the God of wonder who reaches out and loves when we are deprived sinners. Think of all the ways that God is majestic and powerful...and praise Him for everything that He is!

Well, I figured that it was about time to update my site before it became a whole month since updating.  

Yesterday, my brother came home from being in Israel the whole semester!! Yes...I did start crying when I hugged him.  (those of you who know me know that I do not cry very easily). Anyway, I look forward to hanging out with him as much as I can...and studying for my other two finals this week. It is cool to hear about all the things that he was able to experience and see. It is also awesome to hear about the friendships that he formed...both with fellow students and residents in Israel.

A friend asked me the other day "Carolyn, how do you guard your heart?" In view of the fact that the semester is almost over...and now is the time to give testimony to what God has done in our lives. I would like to share some verses that have exhorted me to trust in God's plan and His goodness!

Proverbs 31:12 "She does him good, and not harm all the days of her life"

An excellent question to ask yourself (even if you are a guy) is "am I doing good towards my future spouse by: thinking this thought, by looking at this picture, by gossiping about this person to others, by dreaming about a future with this person. I found that it is usually easy for me to justify certain thoughts and actions...but God has been teaching me to be honest. Be honest with yourself in this

Well, yesterday we had our campus wide election for who would be the next Student Body President. It was very exciting and a lot more pumped up than last year! Anyway, today I ran into one of the candidates...and I found out who won.  (I don't think we find out officially until Monday)
